I am a qualified and experienced
psychotherapist,
and I offer short-term and long-term
psychotherapy for individual adults.

at my office in Töölö, Helsinki. 
I offer a professional, thoughtful and compassionate approach to help you understand and resolve the issues you may be dealing with. I believe everyone is unique, and I try to work with every client to get to the roots of what is going on. I integrate my different trainings, skills and experience to tailor my approach to meet the needs and preferences of each client.

My work is based on psychodynamic orientation, but my psychotherapy work has been greatly influenced by cognitive psychotherapy, traumatherapy as well as body-oriented and emotion-focused approaches. I have been trained in EMDR (psychotherapy treatment to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories) and in ISTDP (intensive short-term dynamic psychotherapy with emphasis on attachment and emotions).

English and Swedish.
 
My services are available
with or without Kela-support.
For insurance-covered
psychotherapy and
Kela’s rehabilitative psychotherapy
you need a doctor’s referral.
If you are self-funded,
referral is not needed.
